Michelin-recognized chef John Mooney approached me to help design his passion project, Chapos' Tacos, a foodtruck in Washington, D.C. He described his vision of a skull wearing black sunglasses and a big 'stache, and he couldn't have been more pleased when I presented this Día de Muertos-decorated skull logo. While the resemblance to Danny Trejo is just a coincidence, it’s proven to be a positive association as the T-shirts sold out on opening weekend.
